This Brentwood based Secondary School are seeking to appoint a Science Teacher for the new academic year in 2020. This is a permanent position, and the role includes general Science teaching between KS3- KS5. The school will accept NQTs and fully qualified teachers.

As a part of this Science Teacher role, you will be preparing Years' 7 to 9 students for all three areas of Science and in Years 10 to 11 the students will study each areas individually; Biology, Chemistry and Physics. In this role you will also be teaching students within the Sixth Form, this includes A Levels in Biology, Chemistry or Physics. The most recent GCSE results for the Department in 2019 was an impressive 86% of students achieved a 9-4 result for Chemistry, 95% for Biology and 93% for Physics on the OCR Exam Board.
A successful Candidate must demonstrate the following:
- Exceptional Science subject knowledge
- That you are educated to Degree Level in Science based subjects
- You have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from UK PGCE or SCITT Programme
- That you are passionate about raising aspirations and improving life chances
- Clear thinking with outward looking and good interpersonal skills
