Pertemps Education are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant in the Ipswich area. You must have experience being a teaching assistant to register with our agency. This Teaching Assistant role is with a partnered Secondary School in the absence of staff. This will be on an ad-hoc basis during the course of the Academic Year.

What To Expect As a Teaching Assistant:
As a Teaching Assistant your work will range between the ages across all Key Stages and your duties will depend on the age of the students and their individual needs. Therefore it is important learning the needs of the pupils in the classroom, especially lower ability pupils. During the day you will be working inside and outside of the classroom with certain children, who have interventions. It will be important to support the classroom teacher with behaviour issues throughout the day. As a Teaching Assistant you will need to adapt your approach to all students and they have individual needs. You will be looking after children’s physical, social and emotional welfare.
