Job Details

Ensuring that the delivery of childcare services within the Residential home you are responsible for is of a high standard. Meeting or exceeding National Quality

Standards & Regulations set by legislation. You are also responsible for contributing to achieving the procedures of SureCare Residential to deliver well managed and supported care services.

Directly responsible for the management support and development for all staff within our residential home including rota management.



To contribute to the assessment of all new referrals and liaise with professionals as necessary, completing the matching process and sharing information with staff with support from the Area Manager.

To support as above with any young people leaving placement.

To work with relevant external partners to ensure that there is access to mainstream services for children in SureCare Residential services

To communicate to Senior managers/Directors any disciplinary and grievance processes.

To promote the Company's ethos of providing a therapeutic care environment utilising SureCare models both within and external to the company.

Prior to the commencement of each child or young person's placement, ensure that the home is prepared and bedroom ready for admission.

To ensure the care plan agreed for each child is implemented properly and that the care received fully supports the plan.

To ensure that the services are operated in compliance with the requirements of standards, regulation and legislation.

To undertake specific projects to support service development as identified by

Directors.

To participate in the on call rota with other designated managers providing advice, support and assistance out of hours (if required)

To ensure that services are well managed and within budget.
